Frontier Flight Attendants Continue Contract Fight at Orlando International Airport

Date: 7/24/2018

Orlando, FL — Flight Attendants at Frontier Airlines will picket Wednesday at Orlando International Airport in support of contract negotiations. Frontier management continues to face increasing pressure from labor disruptions due to protracted contract negotiations with Flight Attendants and Pilots.

“Frontier Flight Attendants are preparing to do whatever it takes to pressure management to take negotiations seriously with proposals that recognize our contributions to dependability, safety, and profitability of the airline," said Jennifer Sala, Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) Frontier President. "Frontier management continues to come to the table with status-quo proposals even as airline profits soar. We make Frontier fly! And we won't stop until management recognizes our contributions."

This is the third consecutive month Frontier Flight Attendants have picketed Frontier hub airports in an escalating campaign to pressure management at the negotiating table. Flight Attendants previously took action in Denver and Philadelphia.

Negotiations began in November 2015, and continue in mediation with the oversight of the National Mediation Board. Mediation is scheduled to continue this week in Boston.
